Styling Hydraulics
Hydraulic barber chairs are very useful because not only do they complement your hair salon business, but they also have a variable height. You can adjust the height by pressing on the pedal with your foot. This is very good especially if you yourself are of a non-average height or you have clients that are very tall or short.
How does it work you ask? The base of the chair is filled with oil, a series of valves, and a hydraulic. When you press on the pedal with your foot it pushes more oil into the hydraulic. The increase of pressure in the hydraulic will cause the chair to rise up. If you hold the pedal down it will allow oil to escape from the hydraulic, causing pressure to decrease and so the chair will lower.
Most hair salons today use a hydraulic barber chair because if their functionality and they diminish the reason to stand on a stool when cutting hair.
